Greco-Roman Wrestling (classic wrestling, French wrestling, combat moves of the Greco-Roman style) is the European type of combat sports when the wrestler must, by using moves, overbalance the opponent and bring his shoulders down to the mat. The Greco-Roman wrestling prohibits grip hooks, tripping, undercutting and leg grips by hands. Combat is carried out both in the standing position and in the prone. It is prohibited to grab the clothes, ears, nose, fingers and genitals. Hand, arm, shoulder, neck and body grips are used.
