AIKIDO

Yoseikan

Japan 1931
Yoseikan – Yoseikan doctrine is based on the principle of “common prosperity based in the most efficient use of energy” – “Banyu Aigo” – “universal love and harmony”. Do (the Way) is a way to reach the ultimate ideals. The system of physical, ethical, intellectual and spiritual self-improvement is based on the techniques of martial arts. Studying tehodoki, the disciple not only learns to bog down the opponent’s locks but also learns the basic maneuvering techniques that allow to leave the area of defeat and to take the most appropriate position (Tsukuri) against the opponent, to unbalance (Kuzushi) and to control over the actions of the opponent. Then it goes into the real throws and submission locks
