JUJUTSU

BRAZILIAN JUJUTSU

Brazil
Mitsuyo Maeda was a Japanese judoka. During his trip to Brazil he met the Gracie family. That landmark meeting gave rise to the new Jujutsu style (at that time Judo was still new and not well-known among Brazilians). Brazilian Jujutsu as a martial art includes submission locks and chokes that help to make the attacker give in or to neutralize him.
