AIKIDO

Aikikai

Japan 1940
Aikikai is the official successor of Aikido and it is as close as possible to the Aikido that Ueshiba taught in his last years. This style of Akido is characterized by softness in execution. Aikikai cultivates the ability to relax and not to use physical force in the performance of techniques. Such an approach helps to further learn how to move in complete harmony with the opponent and the surroundings.
